A little about EduCare

  • Dedication and passion.

    Over 35 years of dedicated to fostering the life-long love of learning.

    Started in 1983 by Pauline and Joseph Mikuska as a home-based center with 8 children enrolled. The current owners, Stephanie and David Collom who took over in 2012, have built upon the solid foundation of EduCare to now offer 4 programs that can accommodate up to 66 children at one time.

    Here at EduCare we strive to provide quality care and education in our home-like atmosphere. Children learn best in a comfortable environment and when their experiences are meaningful

    Our classrooms are designed with inviting environments with age-appropriate activities, toys, and furnishings. Our teachers complete 18 hours of trainings per year to continue to provide top-notch learning opportunities and environments for their students.

      We are family owned and run, no corporation with hundreds of schools where your child is just a number. We have 2nd and 3rd generation students attending, a true testament to our staff and school.

      Our owners and staff bring their passion and desire to help nurture and educate our future youth to your child’s experience. We want to bring them meaningful experiences that will build character and educate.

    • Research-Based Curriculum

      Our curriculum provides developmentally appropriate activities that are meaningful in a comfortable, consistent environment. Based on the successful teaching research, you feel confident that your child will be engaged and learning.

    • Nutrition and Health

      EduCare provides snacks and meals that are homemade, on site everyday by our well qualified food specialist. No warmed up or catered meals here, only healthy,fun, and nutritious meals for EduCare kids.

    • Room to Run and Play

      EduCare provides expansive play areas for your child to run and play. We provide the largest safe fenced play area of any facility in the area, with room to run and be a kid.

About Us
EduCare provides several programs to meet the changing needs of our families. We offer Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, Summer Camp and School-Age programs. All programs offered are full or part-time.
